Regular old honey is great on its own, but have you ever tried flavored or infused honeys? It’s a simple way to switch up a pantry staple in a fun and yummy way.

Did we mention it’s really easy? It is. Just check out the recipe below. And bonus points if you score local honey from a farmer’s market or grocery store to use in this recipe.

Equipment

  • Glass jar with lid (e.g. a mason jar or recycled pasta sauce jar)
  • Saucepan
  • Spoon

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Transfer honey to your glass jar using a spoon
  • Fill saucepan water – only enough to line up with the amount of honey in the jar and bring to a boil
  • Remove the saucepan from the stove and when it has stopped boiling, place the jar of honey in the saucepan with the lid screwed on loosely
  • Allow about 5 minutes for the honey to become thinner as it warms up
  • Once the honey has begun to thin, remove the lid and slowly begin adding the desired amount of CBD tincture (how much you use is up to you), stirring it well to ensure that it is distributed evenly
  • After you’ve added the desired serving of CBD, let it sit for about 30 minutes to ensure it is properly infused
  • Enjoy! Afterward, store at room temperature
